About Us

About Us: Therapy for Elders ADD-ADHD Evaluations

Our Journey

Founded in 2017, Therapy for Elders ADD-ADHD Evaluations (TFE) was established with a vision to provide comprehensive and unbiased information about Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) specifically tailored for the needs of older adults. The site’s inception came from the recognition of a significant gap in online resources dedicated to this often-overlooked demographic.

Our Mission and Purpose

Our mission is to empower elders with ADD/ADHD and their loved ones by offering reliable, accessible, and easy-to-understand information about evaluation processes, treatment options, and coping strategies. We strive to be a trusted companion for those navigating the complexities of these disorders in later life.

TFE aims to bridge the information divide by:

  • Providing Clear Guidance: We offer straightforward explanations of ADD/ADHD assessments, helping elders and their families understand the process and its benefits.
  • Promoting Awareness: Through informative articles and personal stories, we raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by older adults with ADD/ADHD.
  • Ensuring Accuracy: Our commitment to reliability ensures that every piece of information is meticulously researched and fact-checked.

Core Values

  • Unbiased Information: We present evidence-based data without bias, allowing readers to make informed decisions.
  • Accuracy: Reliability is at the heart of our content creation process.
  • Empathy: We understand the unique struggles faced by elders with ADD/ADHD and strive to offer supportive resources.
  • Inclusivity: Our content caters to a diverse range of experiences, ensuring every reader feels seen and heard.

Filling the Online Gap

The internet is brimming with information, but when it comes to ADD/ADHD in elders, the available resources are sparse and often lack depth. TFE was created to fill this void, offering:

  • Personalized insights into the challenges faced by older adults with ADD/ADHD.
  • Practical tips for managing symptoms and improving quality of life.
  • Comprehensive guides on evaluation methods, including interviews, questionnaires, and neuroimaging.
  • Reviews of therapeutic interventions and their effectiveness in later life.
